We hope that everyone had a pleasant last few weeks and that your month of May is off to a great start. We wanted to provide you all with a few high-level updates about the project that have happened since last month:

• The RFP (Request for bid Proposal) for the project was sent out to 4 prospective general contracting teams on April 5^th. We are expecting all bids to be received by May 13^th with the final decision being made in the weeks after. 
• We are currently working to gather the necessary documents to submit the permit application package to the City of Chicago.
• The final decision for the name of the development is currently on hold. We would like to set up an in-person meeting for all committee members sometime within the next month to make sure the final decision that is made is one that is reflective of the general consensus. We will provide everyone with the date and information for this meeting in the next few weeks.
